Scrubbing In
Welcome to the Operating Room.
Here, you will learn basic surgical skills, such as gowning, gloving, suturing, and knot tying. Then you’ll move on to watching a number of surgical procedures that are clinically important in obstetrics and gynecology. But rather than spending 2 hours holding a retractor in order to see the critical 5 minutes of the procedure, we’ll skip over the retractor-holding and go right to the critical 5 minutes.
